Nutrient-rich flakes made from finger millet (ragi), a traditional grain staple across India. Known locally as ragi, nachni, or mandua, finger millet has been cultivated for centuries and remains a cornerstone of wholesome nutrition. Rich in calcium, iron, and dietary fibre, these flakes offer a convenient way to incorporate this ancient grain into your daily meals. The mild, slightly nutty flavour works well in both sweet and savoury preparations.
How to Use: Mix 2–3 tablespoons of flakes with warm milk or water to create a porridge. Stir well to avoid lumps and cook for 2–3 minutes until desired consistency is reached. Add jaggery, honey, or fresh fruit for natural sweetness. Can also be sprinkled over yoghurt, added to smoothies, or mixed into batter for pancakes and baked goods. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
